What’s included when I start a rental?

For just $49.95 + tax, you’ll receive:

• A method book required by your school director
• A music stand for home practice (you choose the color!)
• A care kit to maintain the instrument
• Use of a high-quality, director-approved instrument for the first month

What kinds of instruments are available?

We offer:

• Premium and Certified Pre-Owned rental instruments
• A limited number of used instruments for purchase
• All models meet or exceed school band director standards

What happens after the first month?

You enter our Rent-to-Own program:

• Make low monthly payments
• After 48 months of on-time payments, you own the instrument

Can my student switch instruments?

Yes! You can:

• Exchange your rental at any time if your student changes instruments or needs a different size

Can I purchase the instrument instead?

Yes:

• Get 30% off the purchase price if you buy up front
• Includes a 12-month Service Protection Plan (a $100–$150 value)
• Eligible for our Guaranteed Buyback: If your student quits band, we’ll buy back the instrument for what you paid, minus the rental amount that would have accrued

What if my student upgrades later?

Use our Easy Upgrade option:

• Transfer equity from the beginner rental to an intermediate or step-up instrument
• Keep your payment plan without starting over

How do I return the instrument?

• Drop it off at any West Music location
• We’ll inspect it and stop your next monthly payment
